Like may great ideas, ours started in a garage. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we began exploring the idea of creating something that could truly benefit our friends and families as a supplemental boost. Drawing on our knowledge of gummy-making and ethnomedicine, we started experimenting with ingredients and recipes.

After countless iterations, we finally landed on what became the Immunity Boost gummy—packed with healthful ingredients rooted in centuries of healing and tied to our cultural heritage.

These were the first steps toward launching a company dedicated to empowering lives through the healing benefits of culturally significant plants and minerals—while tasting sensational, too!

We love seeing the look of surprise when people try one for the first time, amazed that something without artificial flavors or colors can taste so good.

Our vision at Zindagummy is to provide genuinely enriching health and wellness support, standing out in an endless sea of supplements. We continue to explore ways to blend ancient medicinal ingredients with modern twists, crafting products that meet real needs and delight eager taste buds.

The Founders

Alya Hameed

Alya has been experimenting with foods and flavors since she was a child, so much that her mom often says that she has “taste in her fingers.” She has English degrees from UC Berkeley and San Diego State University and has worked in academia, publishing, and education, but she always wants to lean more into her creativity and use that to help others and build a stronger community. This is why Alya is thrilled about Zindagummy. Everyone deserves trustworthy and effective sources of nutrients.

Charles Dale

Charles has spent over a decade in the food & beverage industry, working behind the scenes in the research and development, quality assurance, and regulatory spaces to help create new products and food safety systems. He holds degrees in food science, agribusiness & food industry management, giving him the technical background to understand the complex and dynamic nature of food businesses. Now he’s taking the obvious leap into creating Zindagummy. It’s a big step, but he never wants to look back on his life and say, “what if.”
